FAQ-Tastic Future Developments
Even though the FAQ-Tastic is a fully functioning and complete WordPress FAQ plugin, there are a few tiny features that would really make this plugin fulfill it’s original vision. FAQ-Tastic was originally commissioned however, due to budget constraints, we were forced to limit the number of features provided in our FAQ plugin.

Here are the extra features that we would have loved to have built into our WordPress FAQ Plugin.

  • Automatic FAQ page generation.
Create a “question group” and instantly build an FAQ page. This would simplify the FAQ process.
  • Question & Answer Author Names.
Provide more information such as the name of the user asking the question & their website. Also, display the name of the Admin answering the question from a dropdown list.
  • Admin Email Notification.
Let’s you know when a question has been asked.

If you would like to see these, or any other new features, then please make a contribution or support us with any of the following:

  1. If you use our FAQ plugin, then please make a link back to us or tell us where we can find your FAQ page. We would be grateful if you could use the following link and text (just copy and paste this into your webpage):
    <a href=”

I have a short whishlist too:

for every question a two dates, when it was added and when modified. Displaying those dates with questios. Then a short index of last changed questions. FAQ can be exported in csv but it would be nice to have xml format too. I’d like to publish pure text version in news groups.
Maybe also a date of last modified of entire FAQ ie last question to put somewhere in header FAQ. Maybe a version too. :)

A Checkbox in the Admin Options Tab to allow or disallow rating would be nice.

      Thnx a lot and greets!
