Do you love WordPress and think it could be much better? Have you sometimes thought that your skills are greatly undervalued and unappreciated? Would you like to be part of a community that wants to make a difference in the world?
Well, now your chance has come.
If you’re here, then you’ve probably had a chance to go around our site and have a look at our plugins and have a sense of what we’re trying to achieve. As you might have noticed, we like things excellent. And we’ve a long way to go before we get there.
Which is why we need your help.
Knowledge Constructs is committed to building FREE plugins for the WordPress community. We’re aiming to make a difference by making the tools you need to create a really fantastic site. To do this will require a lot of effort so do you think you can contribute?
Here are just some ways in which you could help making this vision a reality:
- Publicity & Marketing
Can you add a link to us on your blog or site? Each link you make to us helps to increase awareness of what we’re doing. To be effective in your linking, please add some keywords into the text of your links (e.g. “WordPress plugins” or “WordPress SEO plugins”). This actually helps us with being found more easily in the search engines.
Can you create cool icons and have a great eye for design? If you like any of our plugins, then why not help us promote them by creating icons for people to use on their site or even banners, buttons and simple ads? Send us your work and we’ll put it somewhere where others can download it.
Are you a Developer? A beta-tester? We always have need for testers to check the quality of our work as well as making some recommendations on how plugins can be made better. Maybe you could even help to build some of our plugins and contribute to the ongoing improvement of WordPress.
- WordPress Template Developer
Are you an exceptional template coder? Do you love CSS? Are you familiar with the CSS Zen Garden? We’re looking to build new Search Engine Optimised WordPress templates to help make authority websites. As a challenge, we’re looking to create sites that are: Visually striking, Search Engine Optimised and Usability/Accessibility friendly.Essentially, the structure underneath the site should be easily read by a “screen reader”. We’re looking to build our templates with 508 Web Accessibility in mind.
We’re a long way from achieving this goal but we’re slowly taking the first steps to enable all users to enjoy the internet.
Can you write compelling content? Are you cunning lingusitically? Or can you write some excellent How-To guides on using our plugins to help others out. Send us your articles, ideas and experiences – we’d welcome your WordPress related stories.
- Tell A Friend
One of the best ways of recommending us is just by letting other people know about what we’re trying to do – making WordPress the #1 choice for managing content. Mention us to a friend over a coffee; send an email about our plugins to your friends; or recommend us in your newsletters. Whatever it is – it’s all good!
If you could make any financial contributions, then this would also be appreciated. We do have Development and hosting costs to manage and couldn’t survive without your help. Thanks to everyone who’s helped so far – it’s good knowing that people care.
